The Farmhouse

There has been a farm on this site, known as Coombe Farm since the early part of the 1700's in an area officially designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. The main farmhouse, its adjoining cottage and the dilapidated barn sit in the middle of 70 acres of rolling farmland just outside the village of Northleigh in East Devon . The house faces south and has views over the Colyton valley. Access is via a single track lane which only serves the farm and the fields so is virtually a private road. The location is very convenient, being 5 minutes from the historic town of Honiton , and only 15 minutes from the south coast.
The coastline is known as the ‘ Jurassic Coast ' and has been designated as a World Heritage Site. The picturesque seaside villages of Branscombe with its famous historic pubs and the fishing village of Beer are only 5-6 miles away and are typical of the area. There is plenty of parking on the gravel drive directly outside the house. The City of Exeter is 30 minutes drive away and has all the amenities of a large city.
